Founded in January 2003, Taal has performed throughout the nation at top venues including Central Park, the Getty Center, Mass. Museum of Contemporary Art, Wiltern Theatre, 20th Century Fox Studios, Henry Fonda theatre, SF Civic Center to name a few. They have collaborated with leading producers and DJs Nitin Sawhney (UK), Cheb i Sabbah (SF), midiVAL Punditz (New Delhi), Karsh Kale (NY), and Bobby Friction (UK) to create a cutting-edge experience that fuses the beauty and form of Indian tradition with electronic world grooves.

Taal Dance Co. has performed alongside Christina Aguilera, the Black Eyed Peas, the Doors, and other entertainers. Taal was commissioned to perform in an international Pepsi Commercial, a San Miguel Beer Commercial, and an MTV music video by Say Anything directed by Shane Drake. Additionally, Taal has performed at the Primetime Emmys Reception and at the home of Brian Grazer for a private event hosted by Ron Howard, George Lucas, and Renee Zelleweger.
